The Select Board for the Town of Walpole will receive sealed Bids for Contract No. 2025-15, Replacement Lagoons, H.E. Willis Water Treatment Facility until 10:00 a.m. local time on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at the Purchasing Department, Room 110, Town Hall, 135 School Street, Walpole, Massachusetts 02081 at which time and place all Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Main Meeting Room. Bids submitted after this time will not be accepted.
In general, the Work of this Project includes, but is not limited to furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment and incidentals to replace two existing earthen lagoons with two new cast-in-place reinforced concrete lagoons including but not limited to temporary piping system, residual management, selective demolition, clearing, removal and replacement of fencing, exterior piping, fittings, valves, hydrants, manholes, flow metering equipment, site improvements, surface restorations and all other related Work complete as specified, and as evidently required to complete the Work.
THE ESTIMATED COST IS APPROXIMATELY $1,700,000.00.

A non-mandatory pre-bid site visit will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at 1:00 pm. The event will be held outdoors at the existing H.E. Willis Water Treatment Facility site located at #9 Leonard Street in Walpole.
