Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) is a Department of Defense entity responsible for research and development, test and evaluation, engineering and fleet support organization for the Navy’s ships, submarines, military watercraft and unmanned vehicles.



This requirement is for Naval Foundry and Propeller Center (NFPC) who is responsible for the design, manufacture, and repair propellers for the US Navy.



The proposed procurement action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and award with only one source under authority of 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B), "Only one source is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized.”
