Replace the roof and repave the parking lot of the community center

Public Notice of RFQ for Engineering Services

The Town of Powhatan has received an Arkansas Community and Economic Development Program (ACEDP) grant from the Arkansas Economic Development Commission to replace the roof and repave the parking lot of the community center.
The Town of Powhatan is interested in acquiring the services of an engineering firm or individual to provide services for the above-referenced project.
Procedures for selection of an individual/firm will be in accordance with ACEDP procurement requirements. All responses will be evaluated in terms of specialized experience and technical competence; performance; capacity and capability of the firm/individual to perform work; and proximity to and familiarity with the project area. Negotiations will begin with the respondent obtaining the highest total score in the evaluation process.
Interested parties are invited to secure a Request for Qualifications package from East Arkansas Planning & Development District by emailing Miranda Sullens, msullens@EAPDD.com
All interested parties must submit three copies of their response to the Request for Qualifications package to The Town of Powhatan c/o Mayor Eric Smith, PO Box 55, Powhatan, AR 72458. Statements of Qualifications will be accepted no later than 4:00 pm, June 15th, 2026.
