Replace Steam & Chilled Water Piping - Academic Quad

The work of this single bid project includes the removal and replacement of steam line, condensate line, chilled water line as indicated. Remove and replace approximately steel steam line currently used for makeup water for CHP. Remove and replace approximately pipe supports for steam and chilled water). Replace all valves associated with lines. Assume the insulation of all of the above lines contain hazardous materials and must be abated. All work to take place in existing steam tunnels running throughout/underneath existing academic quad.

Plans will be available after July 25, 2025, through Plan & Print Systems (315-437-5111 & https://www.planandprintroom.com/ ).

A project walk-through has been scheduled for July 31, 2025, at 11:00am, meeting at 44 Pierrepont Ave, Potsdam, NY.

All bidders must present evidence of skill, experience and financial qualifications per Information to Bidders, Section 7 of the project specs. Subcontracting is permitted (Section 2.18 of SUCF Agreement). Principal subcontractors must be named within 48 hrs after bid opening per Information for Bidders Section 8. Bidders must submit within 48 hrs either certification of its NYS VendRep questionnaire (preferred) or a signed and notarized paper CCA2 form (Version 3/22 only), Attachments A, B, and C, Appendix A form, work descriptions, and preliminary project schedule.
