Sealed bids for SUCF Project No. 191026_- REPLACE ROOF VETERINARY MEDICAL CENTER - PHASE 1 will be received by Cornell University at 121 Humphreys Service Building, 639 Dryden Road, Ithaca, New York 14853, until 2:00PM on December 11, 2025, then opened publicly in Room 102C Humphreys Service Building and via Zoom at: https://cornell.zoom.us/j/95836414882?pwd=wFDg5z0dRXfcXwe6OAjpgpBrPCs25l.1&from=addon Bids must be accompanied by a bid security (bid bond or certified check) in the amount of 10% of total bid.

Scope of Work:

1. This project includes the replacement of roofing systems and skylights at the Veterinary Medical Center. The project will be phased over multiple construction seasons and includes the replacement of two (2) roof areas (1164-001 and 1164-007), with alternate pricing for three (3) additional roof areas (1164-001B, 1164-008, and 1163-001).

2. The existing ballasted roof system will be demolished and replaced with a KEE PVC roof assembly on existing concrete and/or metal decks. Work also includes skylight replacement, roof ladder, guard rails, lightning protection, lighting, and the modification of various rooftop mechanical supports, curbs, and equipment to accommodate the new roofing system.
