Sealed bids are invited for the Replace Roof on Workforce Development Center Southside Virginia Community College, Christanna Campus, Project Code # 260-B4260-099 (M23SV167) located in Keysville, Virginia. The project is generally described as: Phase 1 Wall Repairs and Partial Replacement: Includes replacement of thru wall flashing at all roof to wall intersections and wall assembly replacement at the entryway above first story roofline. Thru wall flashing scope requires removal and replacement of four (4) courses of brick, temporary stabilization of brick rainscreen above, and tie-in to existing dampproofing and 45mil EPDM roof. Wall assembly replacement involves removal of brick veneer, permanent removal of windows, repair of substrate and insulation due to water damage, installation of a new EIFS wall system with associated flashings, and tie-in to existing EPDM roof. Phase 2 Roof Replacement: Remove existing EPDM membrane, replace wet insulation, repair damaged roof deck. Install new fully adhered 90mil EPDM roofing, insulation, crickets, edge metal, scuppers, and associated flashing. PLEASE NOTE: For shipping/mailing, use Suite 390; for hand delivery, use Suite 200. The deadline for submitting bids is 3:00 P.M. sharp, as determined by the Bid Officer, on Thursday, November 13, 2025. The bids will be opened publicly and read aloud beginning at 3:00 P.M., on the following day, Friday, November 14, 2025, at the same location. In person hand delivery is supported on bid day at the stated location. Building is open during regular business hours. All visitors need to sign in at the virtual receptionist (iPad on the wall in the main lobby.) Bids may be modified as per the Instructions to Bidders using fax number (804) 819-4762 and copying sroberts@vccs.edu. A Standard Commonwealth Bid Bond is required (form CO-10.2) and Contract Security is required for any bid regardless of the bid amount. The bidder or offeror shall be a registered vendor in eVA. e-Builder: Contractor shall process all Pay Applications/Invoices through the Ownerâs web-based project management software, e-Builder. There is no fee to use e-Builder. Owner will provide support or training to the Contractor as necessary. A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Southside Virginia Community College, Christanna Campus, 200 Daniel Road, Keysville, Virginia 23947 in the Workforce Development Center front Lobby.
