Replace Hail Damaged Shingle Roofing and Accessories

The City of Edwardsville is seeking separate sealed bids for the removal and replacement hail damaged shingle roofing and all accessories at various locations through out the city.  Bids will be received by the Edwardsville City Clerk, 118 Hillsboro Avenue, P.O. Box 407, Edwardsville, Illinois 62025 until Monday, October 13, 2025 at 2 PM, at which time the bids will be opened and read aloud. Copies of the specifications, contract, and bidding documents will only be available at the city of Edwardsville’s web site www.cityofedwardsville.com/bids.aspx.&nbsp ;  Mandatory Pre-bid meeting/Site inspection will be held October 7, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at 252 North Main St, Edwardsville, IL 62025. All bids must be made on forms furnished by the City of Edwardsville and placed in a sealed envelope. Clearly label the envelope “BID ENCLOSED CITY WIDE ROOFING REPLACEMENT” on the lower left-hand corner of the envelope. Contractors must submit a cashier’s check, certified check, or bid bond in the amount of five percent (5 %) of the gross amount of the total bid with the bid sheet. Illinois law requires that contractors pay the prevailing rate of wages as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor. A Project Labor Agreement WILL BE REQUIRED ON THIS PROJECT. The City of Edwardsville reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
