Replace Boundary and Interior Fencing - Bakersfield Gateway Armory

The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, permits and fees necessary for the Replace Boundary and Interior Fencing located at Bakersfield Gateway Armory, 1512 S P Street, Bakersfield, CA 93307. The Contractor shall install approximately 1,700 linear feet of new security fencing, including 9-gauge PVC-coated chain-link fabric with privacy slats, supported by Schedule 40 posts and rails, along with two pedestrian gates and four 25-foot-wide swing vehicle gates, all in compliance with UFC 4-022-03 and UFGS 32 31 13, while maintaining site security throughout construction. All work shall be in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements of this Invitation for Bid (IFB). Bid submissions shall be emailed to PWC@cmd.ca.gov with the subject title BID FOR EVENT# 34875 - DO NOT OPEN.

Prospective bidders MUST attend the mandatory pre-bid job walk on 4/15/2025, at 1:00 PM at Bakersfield Gateway Armory, 1512 S P Street, Bakersfield, CA 93307. Arrive at least 15 minutes early and bring business cards. Prospective bidders may obtain directions to the pre-bid job walk site by contacting Sergey Kinchak at Sergey.Kinchak@cmd.ca.gov.

Prospective bidders MUST sign-in prior to the start of the pre-bid job walk, attend the entire pre-bid job walk and be present for roll call at the conclusion of the pre-bid job walk. Bidders who do not remain for the entire pre-bid job walk will be considered non-responsive and will not be allowed to bid on this project.

The prime contractor MUST possess a type C-13 - Fencing Contractor license, or subcontract to one.

All questions regarding this IFB MUST be submitted to Sergey Kinchak, at Sergey.Kinchak@cmd.ca.gov no later than 4:00 PM on 4/22/2025. Email subject lines must state RFI FOR EVENT# 34875.

If an addendum is necessary, it will be issued prior to the Bid Opening. The bid opening will be held on 5/6/2025 at 2:00 PM.
