Repairs to Bridge A-C-10 Marion Street Bridge, City Project # 2023-12-BRDG

The Mayor and City Council of Cumberland, Maryland are soliciting bids for the project:

REPAIRS TO BRIDGE A-C-10 MARION STREET BRIDGE

CITY PROJECT NO. 2023-12-BRDG

Completed bids shall be submitted to the City of Cumberland’s online solicitation website, until but not after 2:00 p.m., local time, on 12/18/2024.  All Bids will be virtually released at 2:00 p.m. on that date and available to view on the website. Released bid information does not constitute any award has been made.

Project description:

The project involves various repairs on Marion Street Bridge, including repair of delaminated and loose concrete and spalls at substructure and superstructure components, and associated traffic control measures.

A "Mandatory PREBID SESSION” for the purpose of answering or obtaining answers to questions of parties interested in performing the work, relative to construction details, will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on 12/4/2024 at the Public Safety Building. 20 Bedford St., Room 336, Cumberland, MD.

A Proposal Guaranty (Bond or Certified Check) in the amount of at least 5% of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid.

The successful bidder will be required to submit a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, for all construction contracts in excess of $100,000, at the time the contract is executed.

The Mayor and City Council reserve the right to waive any technicalities and to reject any or all bids, and to accept any or all proposals which in their judgment is to the best interest of the City.
