Repair Steel Cell Backs and Utilities – Term Contract

The New York State Office of General Services Design & Construction Group (OGS D&C) on behalf of New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision (DOCCS) intends to contract with up to Two (2) firms to provide Engineering Services relating to renovation work primarily focusing on cell back, mechanical, or utility projects. Firms must possess a strong mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering background as assigned tasks will primarily be in these areas of expertise. Other tasks may also include architectural, site/civil/utility engineering, structural engineering, fire protection/fire alarm engineering, commissioning services, energy efficiency, renewable energy, and sustainability. Firms must also be experienced in providing hazardous material investigation and design services for the remediation/removal of such materials as part of the work of this contract. The majority of projects will involve the rehabilitation of existing facilities.
