Bidders are hereby notified that this addendum shall be made a part of the above-named proposal and contract documents.
The following is issued to modify, and/or clarify the bid and contract documents. These items shall have the same force and
effect as the original bid and contract documents, and bids to be submitted on the specified bid date, shall conform with the
additions, deletions and revisions listed as herein.
ITEM #1
QUESTIONS/ANSWERS:
Q1: Is the Contractor responsible to obtain all permits for this contract?
A1: Yes.
Q2: Is the Contractor responsible for all MOT for this contract?
A2: Yes.
Q3: Does the unit price of the handrails include removal and replacement?
A3: Yes, the linear foot price should include the removal, manufacturing, and installation of the
handrails.
Q4: Will mobilization be paid separately?
A4: No, mobilization is incidental to this contract and will need to be included in the unit pricing.
Q5: How much did the County spend last year on this contract?
A5: Approximately $2,300,000 for FY24/25.
ITEM #2
CLARIFICATION:
All work performed within this contract shall be in accordance with the FDOT Design Standards Index
Book FY 2026-27.
This addendum is binding and is to be considered as if contained within the original bid documents of Bid No. 20260486.
Bidders are required to acknowledge receipt of this addendum on their bid forms.
