Summary

Contractor to repair, refurbish, and reinstall one (1) Fairbanks Morse Figure 5711, 18-inch vertical centrifugal pump (8,300 GPM, 29-ft TDH, 75 HP, 600 RPM) at the West County Wastewater raw sewage influent pump station (please see details below):

1. Repair & Refurbishment

  • Perform repairs per the vendor's disassembly/inspection report.
  • Use original pump drawings and specifications.
  • Follow industry-standard repair procedures.

2. Reinstallation

  • Reinstall the pump, motor, and all associated piping, electrical connections, and supports approximately 30 feet below grade.

3. Transportation

  • Transport the pump and related parts to and from the worksite.

4. Compliance & Permitting

  • Adhere to all applicable State and Local codes.
  • Obtain all necessary permits and licenses.

5. Schedule Management

  • Notify the Project Manager at least 72 hours in advance of any delays.

6. Inspection & Quality Control

  • Allow periodic inspections by West County Wastewater staff during work.
  • Participate in a final inspection and correct and deficiencies before final acceptance.
