Repair of Variable Refrigerant Flow Equipment

Suffolk County Community College (the “College”) requires the services of an experienced, qualified Contractor to perform prompt repair service on the College’s Daikin and JCI Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) equipment on an as-needed basis, as reflected herein, at any of the College’s three campuses.

Contractor shall perform repair work that includes, but is not limited to, troubleshooting, repairing and replacing the following equipment:

1. DAIKIN VRV3 & VRV4
   1. equipment and controls,
   2. condensing units,
   3. indoor units and interconnecting refrigerant piping and valves.
   4. The equipment submittals for the Daikin equipment located at the Ammerman Campus Southampton Building and Riverhead Building have been provided in a separate Exhibit A – List of Equipment to this bid document.

The Daikin systems provide air conditioning and supplemental heating to the buildings served.

1. JCI York VRF
   1. equipment and controls,
   2. condensing units,
   3. indoor units and interconnecting refrigerant piping and valves.
   4. The equipment submittals for the JCI York equipment located at the Ammerman Campus Kreiling Building and the Grant Campus STEM Building have been provided in Exhibit 1 – List of Equipment.
