Sealed Bids for the Twiss Street Landfill Cap Repair, Westfield, MA will be received by the Purchasing Director, Purchasing Department, 59 Court Street, Westfield, MA 01085 until 2:00 p.m. local time on September 16, 2025 at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. Sealed Bids must have outer envelope marked as “Twiss Street Landfill Cap Repair, Bid No. 26-005”

The project includes, but is not limited to repairs to vegetative support and sand drainage layers of the landfill cap, repairs to vegetated diversion berms, repairs to stone lined diversion berm/swales and repairs to the stone lined downslope chute.

All Bids for this project are subject to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 149 § 44A(2)(C), c30 39M as amended.

Qualifications:

A bid deposit shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the Commissioner of Department of Workforce Development under the provision of the Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Section 26 to 27D, as amended, apply to this project. It is the responsibility of the Contractor, before Bid opening, to request if necessary, any additional information on Minimum Wage Rates for those trades people who may be employed for the proposed Work under this Contract.

A non-mandatory pre-Bid conference will be held on site at Twiss Street Landfill on September 3, 2025 at 10:00 am.
