REPAIR OF 39-CUBIC-YARD TRASH COMPACTOR FOR UH JOHN A. BURNS SCHOOL OF MEDICINE, KAKAAKO CAMPUS [BID DATE CHANGED FROM 11/25/2025, 12/5/2025]

Project Description: Inspect, repair, and restore a 39-cubic-yard trash compactor to safe, fully operational condition. The awarded contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision, and transportation necessary to complete the work in accordance with manufacturer specifications and all applicable codes and safety standards. (Please see attached Scope of Work for additional details).

Special Instructions

Quotation must include all applicable charges, labor, taxes, shipping, etc. Quote shall be
considered firm.

Bid price shall be valid for a minimum of 45 days.

Under Hawaii law, HRS 103D-310(c), you must provide proof of compliance in order to
receive a contract worth $2,500 or more with state and county government entities in
Hawaii. Vendors need to obtain a copy of their “Certificate of Vendor Compliance” via
Hawaii Compliance Express. To register with Hawaii Compliance Express, go to
https://vendors.ehawaii.gov/hce/splash/welcome.html. Vendor must provide proof of
compliance 1 day after closing date.
