3 SCOPE OF WORK
The City of Hot Springs, Arkansas, on behalf of the Public Works Department, is accepting bids as described in the
scope of work to repair the interior and exterior at the Transportation Building. The scope of work is to provide
labor, materials, equipment and supervision to perform the work to repair interior water damage including drywall,
caulking, and painting of the ornamental interior on the ceiling and walls. The exterior shall include painting,
caulking, minor repairs to all the eves, trim, around the windowpanes, etc., and pressure washing all of the masonry
and concrete. Bidders can find the Transportation Building interior and exterior pictures in the attachments of this
bid. The following specifications describe the minimum requirements for this project.
SPECIFICATIONS
Contractor shall be responsible for measuring and determining quantities. Exterior paint will be semi-gloss 100%
acrylic latex, interior paint will be a combination paint and primer one coat satin or semi-gloss.
The materials shall be of a new, current design production model, and available to the commercial market. The City
reserves the right to review the materials specifications and to choose the materials deemed to be in the City's best
interest. In this regard, bidders are hereby advised that serviceability and functionality will be factors of award in
addition to price. The City of Hot Springs reserves the right to award within the budget available. The equipment
shall comply with all state and federal safety requirements. Any deviations to these specifications shall be explained.

Number. The successful Bidder may be required to obtain a City of Hot Springs business license. For business
services within the City of Hot Springs, the City will honor business licenses from cities within the State of Arkansas.
