Submissions clearly marked "COR7121 - Rental of Industrial Waste Shredder", in the header line, will be received by the City of Regina, via email at procurement@regina.ca , no later than 2:00 p.m. Central Standard Time, on Friday, December 20, 2024.
The City is requesting firm pricing for the rental of one (1) Industrial Waste Shredder.
The City intends to rent the following:
One (1) Industrial Waste Shredder to be assigned to Solid Waste Operations, with a buy out option at the end of the rental term. The award and execution of contract rental start date to be determined but ideally start date of January 2025 to begin.
This unit must be designed for durability and versatility in a landfill environment application. The equipment specification describes a minimum operating weight of approximately 50,000 lbs. with a minimum engine horsepower of 440 hp. This Industrial Waste Shredder must perform in all weather conditions with seasonal extremes ranging from -40º Celsius to +40º Celsius.
Unless otherwise indicated, and subject to applicable exceptions and exclusions, this procurement is covered by:
•Chapter 5 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement
•Chapter 19 of the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement
•Article 14 of the New West Partnership Trade Agreement
There will not be a public opening however the list of firm names who submitted a response will be posted to the Sasktenders website.
The estimated contract period will be 6 month(s).
