Renovate Mahar Hall

The work of this single bid project includes renovation of the interior of Mahar Hall including improved entranceways and a reconfigured central stair. The Project includes the replacement of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems and installation of a new geothermal well field. The Project will also enclose the fourth-floor open courtyards, add a second elevator, and replace all windows and roofing. Hazardous materials abatement is included in the work.

A project walk-through has been scheduled for September 3, 2025 at 1:30pm meeting at Mahar Hall Lobby

All bidders must present evidence of skill, experience and financial qualifications per Information to Bidders, Section 7 of the project specs. Subcontracting is permitted (Section 2.18 of SUCF Agreement). Principal subcontractors must be named within 48 hrs after bid opening per Information for Bidders Section 8. Bidders must submit within 48 hrs either certification of its NYS VendRep questionnaire (preferred) or a signed and notarized paper CCA2 form (Version 3/22 only), Attachments A, B, and C, Appendix A form, work descriptions, and preliminary project schedule.
