Renovate Child Advocacy Center - REVISED

This RFP is looking for a design/build contactor to design, permit and construct two additions to the existing wood framed structure to accommodate approximately 1,000 sf, to include all related infrastructure and all requirements listed within the Scope of Work. Additionally, the entirety of the asphalt roof is to be removed and replaced and a new generator and associated infrastructure is to be provided. These items are to be provided as part of the base bid. The contractor is to provide an alternate to provide finish recapitalization within the existing waiting room and any tree removal in the area for the proposed generator.

The Child Advocacy Center is a 4,375 square foot, single-story building located at 133 E High Street in downtown Elkton. It was constructed in 2004. The facility is used by staff from multiple County departments and agencies to provide services and support to victims of child abuse, human trafficking, and domestic violence in one co-located facility. As demand for those services has increased, additional space is required for expanded services and programming.
