CITY OF HERNANDO
Notice is hereby given that the City of Hernando will receive sealed bids for Renasant Park Improvements - Phase I MOSTF Improvements & Phase II Sports Fields in Hernando, Mississippi.
Bids will be received at the Office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 475 West Commerce Street, Hernando, Mississippi 38632, or can be submitted online at www.centralbidding.com, by 10:00 A.M. local time on October 29, 2024, after which time they will be opened publicly, read aloud, and taken under advisement until the next meeting of the Mayor and Board of Aldermen. SUBMITTAL OF SEALED PROPOSAL: Each proposal must be submitted in duplicate in accordance with the instructions to bidders which are bound in the Project Manual. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all proposals.
SUBMITTAL OF ELECTRONIC BIDS: Each electronically submitted bid must be submitted in “pdf” format and shall contain the same information and forms as required for the paper bids. In the event that an electronically submitted bid has a corrupted attachment, the bid will be considered null and void.
No bid shall be withdrawn after the scheduled date and time of the beginning of the bidding event without the written consent of the City of Hernando.  Within the limitations of Mississippi State Purchasing Law, the City of Hernando reserves the right to reject any or all bids received, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received, or to accept any bid which is deemed most favorable to the City of Hernando.
The bid opening will be held in the City of Hernando Board Room.  Interested persons are invited to attend.
No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled date and time of opening of bids without written consent of the City.  The City of Hernando reserves the right, within the limitations of state law, to reject any or all bids received, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received, or to accept any bid which is deemed most favorable to the City.
