Remove and Replace Fuel Tanks

NOTICE TO BIDDERS

The City of Galesburg, Illinois, hereby invites sealed bids to remove and replace fuel tanks, located at the Harrel W Timmons Galesburg Regional Airport, for the City of Galesburg. Bids will be received until 1:00 p.m., local time, Friday, October 17, 2025, at the Harrel W Timmons Galesburg Regional Airport located at 275 Lloyd Stearman Dr, Galesburg, IL 61401; and at that time, publicly opened and read aloud at the Harrel W Timmons Galesburg Regional Airport. Sealed Bids shall be mailed or delivered to the address listed above. Late bids will not be accepted. Bid documents are available as a download from https://www.springfieldrepro.com/ , as electronic files in PDF format. All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond and Performance Bonds will be required for this project. The bid guarantee may be in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or other specified acceptable collateral, in the amount specified in the proposal form. Such bond, check, or collateral, shall be made payable to the Owner. All interested prime contractors are strongly urged to attend a Pre-Bid Conference scheduled for Thursday, September 25, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Harrel W Timmons Galesburg Regional Airport. Vendors will be required to comply with all applicable EEO laws and regulations. The submission of the bid by the offeror in response to this Advertisement for Bids constitutes an acknowledgement of and an agreement by the Offeror that it understands and will comply with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act and the Illinois Preference Act (30 ILCS 570). Resolution No. 90-74 requires compliance with the Human Relations Act and all pertinent federal and state rules and regulations. The right is reserved to accept any bid or any part or parts thereof or to reject any and all bids. The contract award shall be made to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid properly addresses and complies with the invitation and is most advantageous to the City of Galesburg; price and other factors considered.
