Description
Nebraska Public Power District (DISTRICT) intends to procure all planning, material coordination, schedule preparation, labor, supervision, materials, tools, apparatus, equipment, conveyances, mobilization, and demobilization as necessary to remove the existing Old Highway 25 bridge on the Sutherland Project Supply Canal. The project is located six (6) miles south of Sutherland, Nebraska. It is adjacent to and east of current Highway 25 bridge. The scope of work covered is intended to be a “turnkey” installation by the CONTRACTOR.

Pre-Bid Meeting Details
A non-mandatory site pre bid meeting for prospective Bidders will be held at the site of the Old Highway 25 Bridge at 10:00 a.m. CDT, August 26, 2025. The purpose of the meeting will be to answer any questions or clarifications the Bidder may have concerning the RFB, and to familiarize the Bidder with the job site. It is the Bidder’s responsibility, while participating in the pre-bid meeting, to ask any questions necessary to understand the requirements of the Contract so the Bidder can submit a bid that is complete and according to the specifications. It is highly encouraged that all prospective Bidders participate in this meeting. If you plan to attend the pre-bid meeting, please email Sarah Hopwood at sjhopwo@nppd.com, and Bill Ruskamp at whruska@nppd.com, with the names of those attending and the company they represent.
