Removal and Replacement of Doors at NYS Parks Police Academy

The Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation is seeking to remove and replace 6 doors throughout the Police Academy building (Gym, Kitchen, Dining Room, Laundry Room, Lounge, Hallway).

Each door must include the following during installation;

• Door must be able to house the Best Lock SFIC (Small Format Interchangeable Core) system that OPRHP maintenance already has for each door, which is a 7 PIN core mechanism.
• Each door must be installed with a Push Bar Exit Device.
• Each door should include a 16 x 34 kick plate installed on the inside of each door.
• Each door must be installed with an aluminum door closer.
• Each door must have weather stripping installed.

Upon completion of installation, OPRHP is requesting the awarded bidder prime and paint each door. Paint Description- Sherwin Williams, Red Scent, #6341, Semi-Gloss Metal Door

Gym Door- 30/70 Metal Frame- 18 Gauge Steel Thickness

Kitchen Door- Masonry Frame 5-3/4” – 18 Gauge Steel Thickness- Door will need window installed and must include a Hex Dogging Key for Push Bar.

Dining Room, Laundry Room, Lounge, Hallway- Masonry Frame 5-3/4” - 18 Gauge Steel Thickness (No window install).

If awarded a Purchase Order, OPRHP requests that work commence immediately or by August 8th, with a completion date of August 29th or sooner. If commodity is being ordered, and will push work commencing to beyond 8/8/2025, please make note of that in your response and the earliest date of when installation can begin.
