Description

A. Remove and install qty 1,268 VRLA Batteries, properly

disposing of the old removed batteries, in (5) five ADN shelters on Fort Leonard Wood

Missouri.



B. Company representative msut be on site to test all batteries upon replacement, in the presence of a Government representative.



C. Weekly status update meetings will be held between the Contractor and the Government.



D. Must adhere to the following industry standards:



NEMA (National Electrical Manufacturers' Association) https://www.nema.org

. ANSI (American National Standards Institute) http://www.ansi.org/

. ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) http://www.astm.org/

. ICEA (Insulated Cable Engineers Association) http://www.icea.org

. IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers) www.ieee.org

. NEC (National Electrical Safety Code) http://www.nfpa.org/

In addition, all Material shall be Underwriters Laboratories Listed unless

Otherwise specified in the PWS.



E. Site walk through must take place prior to starting work with Government representative.



F. Must submit safety report to Fort Leonard Wood Base Safety Office, Environmental Hazard Report to Fort Leonard Wood Department of Public Works Environmental Division, and all necessary contact information to Fort Leoanrd Wood Fire Department in case of emergency.
