NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Public Notice is hereby given that on MARCH 4, 2026 at 11:00 a.m., prevailing time, or as soon thereafter,
at the Municipal Building, Jockish Square, Paramus, New Jersey, the Mayor & Council will receive Sealed
Proposals for the:
THE REMOVAL, PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF AN INDOOR FIRING
RANGE VENTILATION SYSTEM
Specifications will be distributed at a cost of $10.00 per set or emailed at no cost.
Specifications may be obtained at the office of the Borough Clerk, Paramus Borough Hall, 1 Jockish Square,
Paramus, New Jersey, during normal business hours 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday,
commencing FEBRUARY 9, 2026. Specifications may also be obtained via email upon request.

An optional site walkthrough may be scheduled on a daily basis during the hours of 8 AM – 11 AM
only. Please contact via e-mail for next-day appointment at DPW@PARAMUSBOROUGH.ORG or by
phone to DPW 201-265-2100 Ext. 6141. Attendance is not mandatory but is strongly recommended.
Failure to attend does not relieve the bidder of any obligations or requirements.
Said proposals must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder,
and must be addressed to the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Paramus. All proposals must be
accompanied by a cashier’s check, certified check, or a bid bond, made payable to the Borough of Paramus
in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the amount of the bid.
The envelope must also indicate A Bid Proposal.
Any Addenda to be issued will be posted on the Borough of Paramus’ website in accordance with
N.J.S.A. 40A:11-23 (C)(1). All potential bidders shall check the website from now through bid opening.
It is the sole responsibility of the bidder to be knowledgeable of all addenda(s) related to this procurement.
No bidder shall be allowed to withdraw his bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the proposals, or bids
are opened.
The Mayor & Council reserve the right to waive any informalities or defect in any bid, to reject any
and all bids, or to accept such bids that, in the discretion of the Council, are in the best interest of the
Borough.
Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C.
17:27 regarding equal employment opportunity, as amended, New Jersey Statutes Title 19 Fair and Open
Process, the Borough of Paramus and all other applicable laws.
