Removal of Hazardous Waste and Emergency Respnse Services

Hudson Valley Community College is seeking bids for the removal of hazardous waste and emergency response services.

This contract provides for the classifying, segregating, bulking, packaging, labeling, transporting and storage/treatment/disposal of hazardous and other waste generated by Hudson Valley Community College, satellite locations, and it’s Educational Opportunity Centers. Waste included in this contract shall include, but is not limited to, flammable solvent liquid and solid waste, halogenated solvent waste, corrosive liquid waste, reactives, unstables, non-regulated waste, lab packs, mercury waste, expired chemical products, solutions containing heavy metals and paint waste. This contract will also provide for on-call emergency response clean up services related to the release of a hazardous material and additional clean-out and removal services, as requested, such as: oil-water separator cleanout and disposal, low expansion fire suppression foam testing capture and disposal, and cleanout of morgue coolers.
