ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town of Nolensville is accepting sealed bids from qualified bidders for a contract involving the removal and disposal of asbestos-containing asphalt and associated surface coating from a tennis court area of approximately 13,000 square feet.

In addition, the Town is requesting an additive bid for the demolition, removal, and disposal of:

  • Approximately 181 linear feet of existing concrete sidewalk, and

  • An existing pool restroom building containing approximately 665 square feet.

The project site is located at 1413 Bluegrass Road, Nolensville, Tennessee. An existing conditions survey has been prepared for the park site and is available as a separate attachment to the Invitation to Bid.

SEALED BIDS will be received by the Town of Nolensville at 7218 Nolensville Road, Nolensville, TN 37135, until 2:00 PM CDT, Thursday, February 5, 2026 at the Town Recorder’s Office. Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud at Nolensville Town Hall, 7218 Nolensville Road, Nolensville, TN 37135, at the same time and date.

Each Bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope, addressed to Montique Luster, Town Recorder, bearing on the outside the name and address of the Bidder and other required information, and plainly marked:

“Greystone Park – Demolition of Tennis Courts, Pool Building, and Sidewalk”

If forwarding by mail, the sealed bid envelope must be enclosed in another envelope addressed as specified in the Invitation to Bid. The Town may consider as irregular any bid not prepared and submitted in accordance with these provisions and may waive informalities or reject any or all bids. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the scheduled opening time. Bids not adhering to these requirements will be considered non-responsive. Late, faxed, or emailed bids will not be accepted.

The Town of Nolensville reserves the right to reject any or all bids if deemed in the best interest of the Town and its citizens.

A list of questions and responses will be maintained and distributed as addenda, which will be posted on the Town’s website. All questions must be submitted received at least five (5) business days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids to ensure adequate time for review and response prior to the bid submittal deadline.
