2024 Remington Avenue Streetscape Phase 1

NOTICE TO BIDDERS: Go to thomasville.org/departments/purchasing or GPR for the complete & unabbreviated Invitation to Bid. Below is an abbreviated version. Sealed bids for the City of Thomasville's 2024 Remington Avenue Streetscape Phase 1 project will be received until 2:00 PM local time on December 5, 2024 at the City Engineer¿s Office, 411 W. Jackson St., Thomasville, GA 31792 for public opening. No Bids may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for request of bids for a period of 60 days. The prime must be GDOT prequalified, and the sub-contractors must be prequalified or registered per Chapter 672-5, ¿Governing the Prequalification of Prospective Bidders,¿ of the Rules and Regulations of the State of GA. This project consists of improvements to Remington Ave from Smith Ave to E. Pinetree Blvd. These improvements include resurfacing, curb and gutter, roundabout construction, landscaping, stormwater improvements, water main replacements, and sewer rehabilitation. A complete set of plans, specs & bid documents may be viewed at the City Engineer¿s Office. An electronic complete set of plans, specifications and bidding documents may be obtained by emailing request to RemingtonPhase1@thomasville.org . The Bidder will be responsible for all costs associated with printing. Proposals will not be considered by Owner unless Bidder is on record as purchasing & receiving complete Bid Documents. Bids must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond in the amount of not less than 10% of the Bid. If awarded the Contract, bidder will submit separate Payment & Performance Bond each for 100% of the Contract amount. Bids must be plainly marked ¿2024 REMINGTON AVENUE STREETSCAPE PHASE 1¿ & must be delivered before the time specified.
