"Rehabilitation of Thru Truss Frozen Hanger Pin Assemblies" - Design Services

The New York State Bridge Authority is soliciting design services for the “Rehabilitation of Thru Truss Frozen Hanger Pin Assemblies” project at the Rip Van Winkle Bridge. This 4,800-foot long thru and deck truss bridge carries NYS Route 23 over the Hudson River, between Catskill and Hudson, NY. The designer shall be responsible for all work tasks necessary to provide a fully complete set of contract plans and specifications.

The Authority has a continuing interest in expanding the opportunities for businesses certified as minority or women-owned by the New York State Department of Economic Development to participate in its procurement programs. All proposers are encouraged to address this interest in their proposals.

Firms possessing demonstrable expertise in these areas of long span bridge design are invited to submit a technical and cost proposal.
