Rehabilitation of NYPD Transit District 4 at 14th Street-Union Square Station in The Borough of Manhattan.

The work includes but is not limited to:

The Work of this Contract includes the complete reconfiguration and renovation of NYPD Transit District Office # 4 (“NYPD Transit Facility”) at the Union Square – 14th Street Subway Station in the Borough of Manhattan.

The scope of the Work is generally summarized as follows:

1. Demolition of the existing NYPD Transit Facility.
2. Reconstruction of the NYPD Transit Facility including replacement of all architectural, mechanical, structural, utility, communications and electrical components.
3. Construction of a ventilation structure (a new surface walkway grate) in Union Square Park for the NYPD Transit Facility.
4. Installation of new water service for the connection for the NYPD Transit Facility.

This is an A + B Bidding Contract.
