Rehabilitation of Avenue Q

The CITY OF MARBLE FALLS, TEXAS is contemplating the reconstruction of Avenue Q from Broadway to RM 1431, approximately 750 LF (average width 27-feet) and approximately 75-LF of 9th Street (27-feet wide) along with the construction of approximately 1,600 linear feet of CURB & GUTTER. There will also be abandonment, removal, replacement and construction of WET UTILITIES (Wastewater, Water and Storm Drainage), Driveways other related appurtenances. There is also approximately 120 LF of Waterline construction along RM 1431 within TxDOT R.O.W.

Bids for REHABILITATION OF AVENUE Q will only be received through Civcast. Bid Documents, which include the Drawings and Specifications will be on file at the following location: www.civcastusa.com , Project ID – “REHABILITATION OF AVENUE Q”. Bids will be received until 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at which time they will be RECEIVED AND ACKNOWLEDGED. Any bid received after the above-stated time shall be disqualified.

A NON-MANDATORY pre-bid conference will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at the City of Marble Falls, Texas City Council Chambers. Representatives of CITY OF MARBLE FALLS, TEXAS and WILLIS ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING, INC. will be present to discuss the Project. A list of subcontractors shall be submitted at the preconstruction conference for review. The CITY OF MARBLE FALLS, TEXAS reserves the right to review and approve or reject any subcontractors at any time during the bid process or during construction with no additional compensation in time or money to the general contractor. Bidders are encouraged to attend and participate in the conference. WILLIS ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING, INC. will transmit to all prospective bidders of record such Addenda as WILLIS ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING, INC. considers necessary in response to questions arising at the conference.
