Region 5 Opioid Abatement Council - Treatment & Recovery Services

The Region 5 Opioid Abatement Council invites proposals for projects designed to establish direct pathways between treatment and recovery systems across Eagle, Garfield, Lake, Pitkin, and Summit counties in Colorado. The overarching objective is to enhance outcomes for Region 5 residents with Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) and co-occurring Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and Mental Health Disorders.

The successful proposal will submit a plan for two years and up to $500,000.

Successful proposals will articulate innovative strategies to bolster client connection to care throughout the continuum, encompassing the stages of seeking, accessing, and successfully transitioning from treatment to recovery. A critical component of these proposals will be the detailed articulation of how they will support stakeholders and foster robust collaborative efforts among existing systems and efforts, thereby improving the accessibility and impact of treatment and recovery services for all residents within Region 5.
