Executive Summary

The Health and Human Services Commission (“HHSC”) is seeking to contract with a single entity to provide Armed Security Guard services for each of its U. S.Department of Health and Human Services (“HHS”) and Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (“DFPS”) locations in Region 6 (Houston, Texas and surrounding counties) (Counties: Austin, Brazoria, Colorado, Ft Bend,Galveston, Liberty Matagorda, Montgomery, Walker, and Wharton). Region 6 locations in this Solicitation can be found in Section 2.1.2 (Service Locations). The HHS locations in Region 6 contain service employees and clients for the Texas Department of State Health Services (“DSHS”), and/or DFPS, and HHS.

Scope of Work

The Contractor shall provide Armed Security Officer(s) to protect State employees, agency clients, facilities, equipment, and supplies in Region 6. The Contractor selected by HHSC will have demonstrated expertise in the areas necessary to meet the requirements of this Solicitation. Region 6 locations in this Solicitation can be found in Section2.1.2 (Service Locations).
