Refinish Existing Shower Bases

SUNY Delhi is seeking informal quotes under its discretionary authority for the refinishing of 44 existing 3’ x 3’ terrazzo shower bases in O’Connor Hall (4 floor residence building with elevator) this winter. Work can commence no earlier than December 20, 2025 and SUNY Delhi approval and must be concluded by January 9 ^th 2026. All quotes must include NYS prevailing wage as well as, but not limited to, all project expenses including travel, lodging, etc. The following specifications are the basis of design at each of the 44 locations. Any vendor must prove that the submitted quote meets or exceeds the basis of design info:

1. Clean all tile and re-grout/strip as needed
2. Clean substrate using non-hydrochloric acid
3. Apply Miracle Method Mira-Seal vapor barrier and let cure as manufacturer recommended
4. Apply 2 epoxy urethane primer coats
5. Apply natural accent fleck/color – Burmite
6. Apply Mira-Poly clear anti-microbial with aggregate
7. Clean all work areas to pre work conditions
8. Must protect all drains to prevent any debris from entering them and are responsible for removing/cleaning any debris that does enter the drains.

Pursuant to NYS Education Law §355(5)(A), which is up to $125,000, for the above noted commodity/product or service. A sealed bid will not be held. This procurement is subject to NYS Finance Law §139 j&k, AKA the Lobbying Law. Therefore, vendors are cautioned that the only permissible contact for this procurement is the individual listed below. Failure to comply with this requirement can range from no contract to debarment from sales to any NYS Agency. Successful contractor shall be required to complete and submit documents related to Vendor Responsibility, NYS Finance Law 139, NYS Tax Law Section 5-a, and valid/current NYS Workers’ Compensation and Disability Forms.
