Description:

The City of Bristol is in possession of a visible, high-profile property measuring approximately 15 acres along State Route 229 (between Interstate I-84 and CT Route 72). The property is a former Brownfield property well suited for industrial/ commercial redevelopment. The City of Bristol is accepting proposals from developers and associated parties for the purchase and redevelopment of said property.

Proposal submission documents are available at no charge by downloading from the City of Bristol web site via the document link noted below.

A non-mandatory pre-submission meeting will be held on December 3, 2024 at 11:00 am at the intersection of Middle Street and Enterprise Drive (northeast corner of the property), Bristol CT, to allow for opportunity to meet with City staff and discuss the property and this solicitation.

Proposal submissions will be accepted by the Purchasing Department until January 7, 2025 at 11:00 am; submissions received after this date and time will not be considered. The City reserves the right to waive any informalities in any submission, to reject any and/or all submissions, and to accept the proposal that in its judgment is in its best interest. Interested firms are required to submit one original copy via digital media of the proposal to the Purchasing Department no later than the date and time noted above.  Submissions may be made via email, shared file service, or USB drive; the City does not assume responsibility for failure of submissions to be received by the City by the date and time noted above.

The awarded firm will take affirmative action to ensure that applicants are employed, and that employees are treated during employment, without regard to their race, color, religion, gender, or national origin.
