Recycling Shed Construction

REQUEST FOR BID
Carlton County Zoning & Environmental Services is seeking bids for construction of a garage
which will serve as a new Recycling Center for the City of Wright and the surrounding
community.
EXISTING CONDITIONS
The Recycling Center is to be constructed at 1408 4th Street, Wright, MN 55798. See attached
Figure 1 for location and Figure 2 for layout of the structure. Site prep work has been done. A
permit from the City of Wright has been submitted.
SCOPE OF SERVICES
* Construction of a 20' x 26' garage with associated 5-inch concrete slab.
* Garage to have 8' ceiling, 42" door for patrons, and an overhead door.
* Windows: 2 - Vector 4' x 2' gliders.
* Steel Roofing and steel siding (white in color).
* 4' concrete apron for overhead door.
* 4' x 4' concrete apron for patron door.
TIMELINE
The project shall be completed by November 1st, 2026.
PROPOSALS
The County will be accepting proposals until May 29th, 2026 a 4:00 p.m. The contractor shall
furnish the following with the proposal:
1. Proof of Insurance which fulfills all requirements of the Workers Compensation Act.
2. Proof of general liability insurance.
Proposals can be mailed, emailed, or dropped off.
