Recycle Dumpster Emptying Service

The Support Services Department is seeking qualified firms to provide services to empty the dumpster, considered recycle removal.

1 This bid package is designed for Single-stream recycle service where all acceptable items are placed in one dumpster for collection and removed from the point of collection by emptying the contents of the dumpster into a container for transport to their destination for sorting.

Definition for acceptablewill be defined by you whether it is cardboard only or paper, glass, metals & plastics.

If your company does not perform single-stream recycling as described above please provide a description of how your recycling process works along with all equipment to be provided at each site.

Note: The period to end questions shall be March 14, 2025 at noon.

NOTE: A MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE

For all prospective offerors is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. March 11, 2025 at the Support Services Department. Attendance at this conference is a prerequisite for consideration of an offeror's proposal.   Copies of the bid package will be available at the pre-bid conference and are available on the County’s website https://www.co.davidson.nc.us/ .

Prospective offerors are encouraged to submit written questions in advance. Address is listed above. The job site visits will happen at the pleasure of the bidders as all places are open and considered common areas, with the exception of the Sheriff’s Office which you may view through the fence.  In the event the County is closed due to inclement weather, this meeting will take place on the next business day.

It is the offeror's responsibility to assure that all addenda have been reviewed.
