Rebid of River Valley Transit Authority Security Services

Project Description: The River Valley Transit Authority is a transportation authority that provides fixed route bus service throughout Lycoming and Clinton Counties. RVTA operates the McDade Trade and Transit Center (TTC) and Church Street Transportation Center (CSTC) in downtown Williamsport, PA. The TTC facility includes a multi-level conference center, parking area and outdoor transfer center that operates six days a week. The outside transfer station area features fourteen (14) bus access points that allows all boarding and alighting passengers to transfer from bus-to-bus. Passengers can enter the transit facility to a protected waiting area with public restrooms, vending machines, and ticket/pass sales office. The CTSC is an intermodal facility that includes 300 parking spaces and is Fullington Trailways Williamsport hub for statewide intercity bus service. Parking in CSTC is open 24 hours a day and provides service for nearby hotels.
With public access to both the transit and parking facilities, RVTA is concerned with the security of the facility and its employees, finding the need to have a security presence at all times. To this end, both facilities are equipped with closed-circuit video recording system throughout the transit areas, passenger waiting areas and parking facilities.
Security coverage will be from the hours of 9:00PM-5:00AM Monday through Saturday. We invite professionally qualified Security Services to provide a quote for River Valley Transit Authority (RVTA) security needs to be renewed annually.
