REBID - Newtown Creek Pedestrian/Bicycle Bridge and Trail Project

Notice is hereby given that Newtown Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, will receive sealed electronic bids via PennBid for the Newtown Creek Pedestrian/Bicycle Bridge and Trail Project.
The project includes construction of approximately 692 LF of trail, consisting of a 170-foot timber bridge over Newtown Creek and a 495-foot asphalt path between North Sycamore Street and Edgeboro Drive at Frost Lane, located in Newtown Township and Newtown Borough, Bucks County, PA. Work includes fencing, landscaping, hardscaping, and amenities.

A NON-MANDATORY pre-bid meeting will be held at 11:00 AM on WEDNESDAY, JUNE 10, 2026, at 295 North Sycamore Street (Rear), Newtown, PA 18940.
Bids are due by 5:00 PM. WEDNESDAY, JULY 8, 2026, and will be opened electronically via PennBid.
Bid security in the amount of 10% is required. Prevailing wage rates apply. Performance and payment bonds (100% each) are required.
The Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, and award the contract in its best interest.
