Project Description: CWU – Lock Haven invites General Contractors to download documents for this project.
Work included under this Project consists of the Captain Gate construction, including the demolition of existing features and the addition of masonry piers and ornamental fencing at the Lusk Run Road / Hill Street entrance to Hubert H. Jack Stadium.
Work for the Project shall be accomplished by a single Prime Contractor according to Pennsylvania statute. The Prime Contractor shall be General Construction. Specific instructions for coordination and responsibilities of the Prime Contractor are contained in Section 0131000, Project Management and Coordination, and elsewhere throughout the Contract Documents. Work included in the Prime Contract shall include, but not be limited to, the following: Site demolition and monument relocation, asphalt pavement replacement and associated earthwork, masonry pier construction, fence and gate provision and installation, and site restoration.
A mandatory Pre-bid conference, with site visit to follow, will be held on February 4, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Facilities Building Conference Room located in Lock Haven PA 17745.
Electronic Bids are due no later than 1:00 PM, EDT on March 3, 2026, through PennBid located at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com/
The Bid package is available at no cost via PennBid at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com/. In order to submit a proposal, interested bidders need to register with PennBid. Registration is a free process that takes only a few minutes. Once registered, bidders may obtain all solicitation documents, receive notification of solicitation updates, and submit and update their confidential bids online
Questions regarding this project shall be submitted via the “Ask a Question” feature in PennBid. Responses to questions which require changes to the Bidding Documents will be posted on PennBid. Bidders who have registered with and downloaded documents for this project from PennBid will be notified by email when a change or addenda has been posted.
