Each Bid Proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or a bid bond in the amount of not less than five hundred dollars ($500) to ensure the guaranty and commitment of the bid proposal. A Contract Performance Bond and a Contract Payment Bond each equal to 100 percent of the Contract Price will be required for the successful bidder at the time of contract execution. The $500 proposal guaranty for the remaining unsuccessful bidder(s) will be returned once a successful contract has been entered into with the successful bidder. The successful bidder’s proposal guaranty will be returned when the successful bidder’s contract bond is received and approved by the Owner and the funding agencies.

No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 30 calendar days after the date of receiving bids.

Proposals shall be placed in a sealed envelope addressed to the Steuben County Board of Aviation Commissioners at 5220 West US Highway 20, Angola, Indiana 46703.

In the lower lefthand corner of the sealed proposal envelope, include the following project title:
