Re-roofing B-wing, D-wing, Cafeteria and Connector

Removal and replacement of existing roofing, flashing, sheet metal, and other roofing accessories prior to replacement with a 90-mil EPDM adhered membrane over code and FM Global compliant cover board, air/vapor retarder systems, thermal insulation, and base board (at steel deck areas) over existing or new roof decking. Repair and replacement of existing metal roof decking is anticipated. Roof framing augmentation is also required at calculated snow drift locations. Coordination with Norwalk Community College is required for temporary rooftop unit shutdown and restart during the re-roofing project. Existing units shall be raised to accommodate increased insulation heights. Abandoned equipment shall be removed and the roof deck infilled at all remaining penetrations. Masonry restoration, roof drain and leader replacement, roof ladders, through-wall flashing, and other associated work are required. Refer to the hazardous materials report and specifications for locations and abatement.
