Solicitation Description:

The purpose of this procurement is to purchase 115 RE rail-bound manganese conformal top frogs, narrow flangeway (heavy wing) frogs, and heavy point frogs for Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) special trackwork. All labor, materials, and equipment required to design, manufacture, test, inspect, package and deliver frogs by meeting the technical specifications in the Scope of Work (SOW). The WMATA Office of Track and Structures will be investigating which frog modification results in increased frog service life.
