Project Description: The Metropolitan Sewer District, as part of the Consent Decree, continues to work to reduce basement flooding incidents. MSD has developed new technologies for the investigation and
identification of Rainfall Derived Infiltration and Inflow (RDII) sources. These RDII sources are the main cause of sewer backups in the MSD service area. MSD requires assistance in
deploying the tools and refining the technologies with the implementation of an efficient workflow process.
