RC Track Cover and Park Improvements – Brookmeade Park
Notice is hereby given that the City of Crestview is soliciting proposals for the design and construction of an open-sided metal roof cover over the RC Track at Brookmeade Park, located at 585 Brookmeade Drive, Crestview, Florida 32539. Alternate bids are requested for:
•
Installation of an ADA-compliant lift providing access to the elevated RC control tower.
•
Installation of an electrical system for the RC Track cover, including lighting and receptacles.
•
Construction of a new bathroom facility per City-provided plans.
Proposals will be accepted until 2:00 P.M. (CST) on November 13, 2025, in the City Clerk’s Office at Crestview City Hall, 198 North Wilson Street, Crestview, Florida 32536, unless otherwise amended by official addendum issued by the City. Late submissions will not be considered and will be returned unopened. Electronic submissions are also accepted through Central Bidding. Proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud at 2:00 P.M. on November 13, 2025, in the City Council Chambers at Crestview City Hall, 198 North Wilson Street, Crestview, FL 32536.
A Non-Mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference will be held at 9:00 A.M. (CST) on October 21, 2025, at the project site located at 585 Brookmeade Drive, Crestview, Florida 32539. All attendees shall sign in. The representative of each proposer shall be an authorized employee of the firm and sign in accordingly. Proposers are encouraged to attend and are urged to review the RFP documents prior to the meeting.
Description:
The City of Crestview is soliciting sealed proposals for the design, permitting, and construction of an open-sided metal roof structure over the RC Track at Brookmeade Park. The selected contractor shall provide engineered, signed, and sealed construction drawings suitable for permitting. Alternate bids are requested for an ADA-compliant lift to the RC control tower, an electrical system for the RC Track cover, and a bathroom facility. All work shall comply with City standards and applicable codes. Proposals will be evaluated based on the criteria outlined in the RFP.
