RC Track Cover and ADA Access Improvements – Brookmeade Park
Notice is hereby given that the City of Crestview is soliciting proposals for the design and construction of an open-sided metal roof cover over the RC Track, with an alternate bid for ADA-compliant access improvements to the RC control tower at Brookmeade Park, located at 585 Brookmeade Drive, Crestview, Florida 32539.
Proposals will be accepted until 2:00 P.M. (CST) on June 11, 2025, in the City Clerk’s Office at Crestview City Hall, located at 198 North Wilson Street, Crestview, Florida 32536, unless otherwise amended by an official addendum issued by the City. Late submissions will not be considered and will be returned to the proposer unopened. Each proposal will be reviewed to ensure all required forms are included, and proposers will be deemed responsive or non-responsive accordingly. Electronic submissions are also accepted through Central Bidding. For assistance with the electronic bidding process, please contact Central Bidding at 225-810-4814. Proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud at 2:00 P.M. on June 11, 2025, in the City Council Chambers at Crestview City Hall, 198 North Wilson Street, Crestview, FL 32536.
There will be a Non-Mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference Meeting for the project at 9:00 A.M. (Central Time) on May 20, 2025, at the project site located at 585 Brookmeade Drive, Crestview, Florida 32539. All attendees of the Pre-Proposal Conference Meeting shall sign in upon arrival. The representative of each proposer shall be an authorized employee of the firm and shall sign in accordingly. Proposers are encouraged to attend the Non-Mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference Meeting and are urged to obtain RFP documents and familiarize themselves with the documents prior to the meeting.
DESCRIPTION:
The City of Crestview is soliciting sealed proposals for the design, permitting, and construction of a weather-resistant, open-sided metal roof structure over the RC Track at Brookmeade Park. The selected contractor shall provide engineered, signed and sealed construction drawings suitable for permitting. An alternate bid is requested for an ADA-compliant path or ramp providing access to the elevated RC control tower. All work shall comply with City standards and the provided Civil Master Plan.
All proposals are solicited and will be evaluated based on the criteria outlined in the RFP.
