Description
The Ministry of Environment and Parks, Recreation Sites and Trails BC is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for recreation site maintenance in the Dawson Creek, BC area (Contract RC272470003) for the period of May 1 st 2026, to October 31 st 2026. This contract will be eligible for two (2) additional years of renewal upon successful and satisfactory completion of the first year. We will accept BC Bid electronic submissions, email submissions or sealed hard copy submissions until February 23 rd , 2026 at 11:59 pm (Pacific Time). Please note, hard copy submissions must be submitted during business hours.RFPs will be opened in private at 9000 17 th Street in Dawson Creek, BC on February 25 th , 2026. The bids will be publicly posted on BC Bid once the successful bidder is confirmed.
The recreation site maintenance will involve the cleaning, maintenance and repairs of infrastructure on Recreation Sites identified in the Schedule C – Site Maintenance Schedule of this contract (RC272470003). Details of the work / services being requested under this contract can be found in Schedule A – Services of this contract (RC272470003).
The estimated contract amount is $6,500.00 per year. The total estimated contract amount (including options to renew) is $19,500.00.

Please be prepared that the successful applicant will be asked to provide the following proof of insurance:Liability Insurance Expiry (FIN173) Vehicle Insurance Expiry (APV47) Additional Motorized Insurance (ATV, snowmobile, trailers, equipment, etc.)
