Notice to Contractors M.G.L Chapter 149 Construction Advertisement. The Town of Reading (Awarding Authority) invites sealed bids for RC-26-01 The Construction of Center for Active Living located on Symonds Way, Reading, MA as described in the drawings and specifications prepared by BH+A Architects.

The project is the construction of a new 27,375sf building and related site work with a project delivery of M.G.L. c149.  Contractor Qualification is DCAMM Certificated and the Awarding Authority invites Prequalified General Contractors and Filed Sub Bid Contractors in the following categories: Masonry, Miscellaneous and Ornamental Iron, Waterproofing, Dampproofing and Caulking, Roofing and Flashing, Glass and Glazing, Tile, Acoustical Tile, Resilient Floors, Painting, Elevators, Fire Protection Sprinkler System, Plumbing, Heating, Ventilation & Air-Conditioning, Electrical.

Contract documents will be available to download from https://biddocs.com/ on Monday December 15, 2025. Only Prequalified General and Filed Sub Contractors Bids will be accepted.

There will be an On-Site Contractors Briefing Session Thursday December 18 at 10am, Symonds Way, Reading, MA 01867.

Sub Bids are due January 14, 2026 @ 2:00PM.

Bids are due January 22, 2026 @ 2:00PM.
