Raw Water Storage Tank Engineering Design Services and Services During Construction

The City of Shasta Lake (City) is soliciting qualifications and proposals from qualified consultants to provide engineering design services and assistance during bidding and construction generally related to the demolition of two existing (0.3 MG and 0.2 MG) potable water storage tanks, construction of a single new 1.6 MG raw water storage tank at the same location, associated pipeline work, and technical analysis.   This project is funded by a Community Development Block Grant (Contract No. 18-MIT-RIP 23001).

It is the intent of the City to hire a single qualified Consultant team that can provide the following services to the City:

• Project Management;
• Preliminary Engineering Design;
• Environmental Compliance and Permitting;
• Plans, Specifications, and Estimates (Final Design); and
• Assistance during Bidding and Construction, excluding Construction Management and Inspection.

Interested consultants are invited to submit qualifications in accordance with the requirements of this Request for Qualifications and Proposals (RFQ&P).  The City anticipates accomplishing the work associated with the project for approximately $675,000.  The successful Consultant must be aware of the budget limitations and be able to provide a clear plan for delivering a bid package that meets the project goals within the project budget constraints.

Proposals will be received by the City of Shasta Lake, Shasta Lake City Hall, 4477 Main Street, Shasta Lake, California, 96019, until 4 p.m. on August 1, 2025.

Firms shall possess all applicable licenses and qualifications needed to provide the services they propose on.  The City reserves the right to reject any or all Statements of Qualifications and Proposals.
