Raw Water Intake Mitigation Project

The City of Marble Falls desires to select a Contractor on the basis of competitive sealed bids for the construction of the Raw Water Intake Mitigation Project. Following is a summary of information related to this solicitation. Bidder is cautioned to refer to other documents including the Project Manual, General Provisions, Special Conditions, Drawings and Addenda (Solicitation Documents) for further details.

Electronic Bids for the Raw Water Intake Mitigation Project (ID No. CIPWT-20201021), in the City of Marble Falls, Texas, will be received at the CIVCAST electronic portal, www.civcastusa.com (Project ID “Raw Water Intake Mitigation Project”), until 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 24, 2023. Bids will ONLY BE ACCEPTED ELECTRONICALLY at the CIVCAST electronic portal; neither the City nor the Engineer will accept physical copies of the bids.

Bids will be opened digitally and publicly read aloud at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 24, 2023, at City Hall located at 800 3rd Street, Marble Falls, Texas 78654. The bid opening will include a call-in number and will be provided through the posting listed above.

The complete Bid Documents are available at the CIVCAST electronic portal, www.civcastusa.com (Project ID “Raw Water Intake Mitigation Project”). Bid Documents are ONLY AVAILABLE ELECTRONICALLY at the CIVCAST electronic portal; neither the City nor Engineer will be providing physical copies of the documents for sale.

All bidders are Required to accept Addenda and other pertinent information via the CIVCAST electronic portal, as well as provide written acknowledgement of Addenda as prescribed in Item No. 002 “Bid and Conditions of Contract”.

All bidders are Required to submit questions and requests for additional information through the CIVCAST electronic portal. Questions or inquiries submitted directly to the City and/or Engineer will not receive a response. No questions or requests for additional information will be accepted later than 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 16, 2023.

An Optional pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 9, 2023, followed by a site visit with the City and Engineer. Meeting details including potential adjustments to date and time (if necessary) will be provided through the CIVCAST electronic portal.
